May 28 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

As individuals bravely step onto the path of recovery, they discover that their connections with others begin to transform in ways they never anticipated.

May Topic: Mental Health & SUD

The Really Good Moderator: Hilary Phelps

Hilary Phelps is a woman in long-term recovery, acknowledging 16 years this summer.  She is a speaker, an addiction recovery advocate and a holistic wellness coach. Her mission and purpose is to help other women find their voice and heal from anything that is holding them back from finding their purpose. Hilary lives in Arlington, Virginia with her son.

Meet The Really Good Panel: Gwen Dittmar, Mario Diurno, and Joseph Kopasek

With 18 years in pharmaceutical and biotech research, Gwen merges her spiritual journey, including a transformative near-death experience at 14, to empower clients. She leverages her expertise in Spiritual Psychology, Coaching, Quantum Human Design, Reiki, Breathwork, and Shamanic Energy Medicine to guide high achievers toward sustainable growth. Mario works in special services at Release, which means he goes to great lengths to answer the call when someone is in need – whether for transportation, sober companionship, or coaching. Mario loves working one-on-one with clients and maintaining long-term relationships with those he supports in recovery. He takes particular joy in receiving FaceTime’s from clients on their one-year anniversaries.

In his previous career, Joe Kopasek was a renowned DJ in the mid-Atlantic, entertaining crowds until the early hours at nightclubs and raves. However, his life took a drastic turn as alcohol and drugs began to take hold of his life. Through a profound spiritual awakening, Joe found the strength to overcome his struggles and embark on a journey of recovery. Now, with almost a decade of sobriety, Joe has earned degrees in Biblical Studies, Chemical Dependency, and is currently working on a Masters in Mental Health. Joe now spends his nights at Ashley Addiction in Havre De Grace, offering hope and inspiration to those in the midst of great pain, helping them find their own path to recovery and joy.
