Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Resources:
Please see important message from our President & CEO
At Ashley Addiction Treatment, we take the health and safety of our patients, families, visitors, and staff very seriously.
The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation is rapidly evolving; given that, we want to keep you as informed as possible. We want to send timely and relevant information regarding our approach to addressing our preparedness and response.
We feel that itโs in everyoneโs best interests to suspend all visitation until further notice. That includes patient visitation, participation in the Family Wellness Program and the Children and Youth Program, outside 12-Step speakers, and outside attendance at Sunday chapel.
In addition, weโve cancelled any in-person alumni and family activities for the duration of March. In terms of events occurring on or off campus in April and beyond, we will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates accordingly.
Updates about the coronavirus are changing hour by hour and our staff is closely following the situation and is prepared to respond. We are closely monitoring updates issued by the CDC, local health systems, and the county health department.
The symptoms are comparable to those of the flu, so, as a precaution, we are extending the same measures to any patient or employee with cold or flu-like symptoms. If anyone in our care should be diagnosed with COVID-19, we assure you that all recommended guidelines will be followed.
Our Intake Department is screening potential patients for possible exposure and symptoms. Based on that heightened screening, we have delayed or denied admission to those who have screened positive, so as not to jeopardize their well-being or that of our other patients.
Our staff is taking any and all steps to reduce environmental risk. Our staff is well-trained in infection-control and prevention practices as well as disinfection routines.
We will continue to monitor the situation very closely and do everything in our power to ensure the continued safety of our patients, visitors, and staff.
Sincerely,
Dave Nassef, President & CEO
